The Educator After-School Opportunity Network (EASON) provides qualified Alvin ISD paraprofessionals, teacher aides, instructional assistants, and other district employees the opportunity to join our on-call substitute after-school coaching network and our after-school program staff.

 

When a coach is unavailable, members of this network may be offered available assignments based on their availability.

This network is designed for educators who are passionate about making a difference beyond the school day while earning additional weekly income through flexible, as-needed after school job opportunities.

 

The network also provides a meaningful way for Alvin ISD employees to continue building their skills and experience, even when all permanent after school positions have been filled.

Cooperative learning is a successful teaching strategy for improving student understanding of the "real-world" skills needed in the workforce. 

Students who aspire to become teachers, counselors, coaches, or work in the field of  child development are trained and paid as they learn within our atmosphere of achievement,

Monday-Friday from 3:30p-6:15 pm. 

Our program helps improve academics, behavior, and attendance and increases self-confidence and motivation in students. 

This program is structured to emphasize higher-order thinking skills and is led and designed by an industrial-organizational psychology specialist.
