Internship Program

For High School and College Students

Learn and earn an income while working toward common goals within a team. We are dedicated to providing quarterly constructive feedback to ensure growth happening.

Our goal is to raise student achievement as a learning community that develops and builds social skills needed for positive interpersonal relationships within the workforce.

Join a team that is rooted and grounded in our core values of:

love, leadership, service, and diversity

Cooperative learning is a successful teaching strategy in which small teams, each with students of different levels of ability, use a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding of "real-world" skills needed in the workforce. Students are paid as they learn and are mentored while creating an atmosphere of achievement.

According to the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) of the U.S. Department of Education, documented results include improved academic achievement, improved behavior and attendance, increased self-confidence and motivation, and increased liking of school and classmates.

This program is structured to emphasize higher-order thinking skills such as analysis and evaluation and is lead by After School Program Mentors, Directors, and Mangers.

Cooperative Learning

for Teens ages14-18

College students have the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom toward a hands-on real-world experience. Interns will gain working experience in their field to add to their resume and can test-out their chosen path to ensure that it's a perfect match and could even lead to direct hire.

Our internship program focuses on leadership and skill development that is reinforced by an assigned GOCS professional and mentor. Our intern program is structured to emphasize higher-order thinking skills such as analysis and evaluation.

A certificate and letter of completion are given to all interns upon the completion of the 3-10 month program.
